| The Dik-Dik (Madoqua kirkii) belongs to the Dwarf Antelope tribe which includes the smallest antelopes. They frequent savannah and bush habitats containing good cover. They are essentially browsers although they do graze on tips of grasses. They have a very flexible upper lip and tongue, and strong rear legs that allows them to stand on their hindlegs to feed, like Gerenuks. They use preorbital and hoof scent glands to mark their territory. | ||||||||||||
