| The Topis have elongated narrow muzzles and mobile lips and graze only on grasses. Their social organization varies with the habitat. Calves can be either "hiders" or "followers". The calves are vulnerable to predators as small as jackals, and cheetahs will run down young up to yearling size. Predation in adults is light, possibly because there are so many other species that are more numerous to choose from. | ||||||||||
