| The Grant's Gazelle rarely has to drink. It gets enough water in the food it eats. This allows them to stay away from watering holes which may help explain why this gazelle accounts for only 6% of combined kills of cheetah, wild dogs, leopards and lions. They are also less numerous than the preferred prey. | ||||||||||
