| Grant's Gazelle is a migratory animal, seasonally resident and nomadic. It can survive under waterless, semi-desert conditions. It is gregarious and territorial. The size and composition of social groups changes with habitat and varies with each season. Nearly half of the Serengeti herds are non-territorial, but this probably occurs only when these animals herd on open plains. | ||||||||||
