"Look at Those Funny Looking Gorillas, Ma!"
			The Gorilla is born after an 8 1/2 month gestation period. It is completely helpless, but manages to cling to his mother. This one could barely lift up his head to look at us, while on his resting mother. For the first 6 months, the baby is never out of her reach. It will then gradually increase the amount of time playing and socializing with others in the group. It is weaned by the end of its second year.
