| This one was not the mating male shown before, but his cohort. He wasn't very active either. Nighttime is another story. During our first night in the Serengeti, three males came to visit our tent. They would signal to the pride about every 15 minutes with that long drawn out growl of theirs. You could actually feel the vibrations of their vocalizing. One even brushed against the outside of the tent and my arm which was inside. Needless to say, we didn't get much sleep that night. | ||||||||||
