"Careful of the Thorns"
The Vervet is more vulnerable to predators than any other primate due to its small size and terrestrial tendencies. They have 16 potential enemies, but only 4 or 5 are normally dangerous. These include the two largest eagles, leopards, lions and cheetahs. For this reason, they usually won't go more than 100 meters from a tree, which they use as a refuge.
