"We Are Not Alone!"
Places to Go, People to See!!
The Black Rhino has poor vision. The eyes are on either side of the head, so in order to see straight ahead, the rhino has to peer first with one eye, and then with the other. It has a keen sense of hearing. Their tubular ears swivel to pick up sounds. Smell is their most reliable sense. It has more olfactory passages in its snout than is located in the brain. It puffs, snorts and screams when alarmed. It is very sure-footed and agile for its size and can run up to 30 miles per hour.
