"Try to Keep Up, Everybody!"
			Their need to drink often, limits the Wildebeest to areas close to water. The perception of heavier thunderstorms in the distance may be what begins the mass migrations to wetter areas. The great migration to the Masai Mara in Kenya had already begun before we arrived at the Serengeti in Tanzania. As luck would have it, an out of season rainfall brought them back. A few days later they started north again. By the time we left, the Serengeti was almost deserted by comparison.
