TO DREAM OF FREEDOM

I'd sure like to get out of here!!

Believe it or not, this is a White-cheeked Gibbon. The young are born white, then change to black, then change to golden or cream color if it's a female. They are the brachiators supreme of the monkeys and apes. This means they swing from branch to branch using only their strong arms and hooklike hands. They live in tropical rain forests in Vietnam, Laos and China's Hainan Island.
