RED-CROWNED MANGABEY

The Red-Crowned Mangabey inhabit tropical rain forests of West Africa. They are largely ground dwellers, but feed and sleep in trees. They have cheek pouches and white eyelids, probably used as a signaling device to other members of their group. They share facial and vocal expressions with baboons and macaques.
