AN ANCIENT LEMUR FROM MADAGASCAR
Sifakas are also known as "leaping lemurs". They move mostly by leaping and can cover as much as twenty feet between trees, aided by their powerful hind limbs. They travel bipedally sideways on the ground, using their tail for balance.
