WHAT'S GOING ON OVER THERE?

The White-cheeked Gibbon is known for its fairly large inflatable throat sac which amplifies a powerful voice. The voice is used to announce its territory to trespassing males and to keep track of each other in its small family unit high in the forest canopy. It spends most of its life in the trees.
